Inside The Shrine Building And The Home And Family Arts Building
One of the hostesses at the Home and Family Arts Building, Becky Dye, talked about how vast the number of different exhibits are featured. Dye spoke specifically of needlework saying there were approximately 78 different entries and that is only one section of the different projects entered. Dye estimated probably well over 300 entries in total. She said one of the most unique items featured was a crocheted rhinoceros. When asked of the people that enter into these projects Dye said, many of the winners are people from the general public and not necessarily just homemakers.
